COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.- Black Hills State women's track and field was picked to finish 7th in the RMAC 2021-22 Outdoor Track and Field Preseason Poll, as released by the league office Wednesday afternoon.
The Yellow Jackets are coming off a successful indoor season which saw one All-American crowned, seven athletes earn All-Conference accolades, four school records broken, and 18 top ten list moves.
The Yellow Jackets returned 16 student athletes for the 2021-22 season while welcoming nine new student athletes.
For the women University of Colorado – Colorado Springs was picked to finish first with 158 points and 11 first-place votes. Colorado Mesa was picked second with 148 points and one first-place vote, while Colorado School of Mines was picked third with 136 points and one first-place vote. Adams State also received one first-place vote.
