The Yellow Jackets hosted the Will Lantis Yellow Jacket Stampede this past weekend where both the Men's and Women's teams finished in first place.
Women
Cashae McGee earned the average buckle in the goat tying with a smoking average time of 14.5 on two.
Karli Verhulst placed sixth with a 16.1 on two.
Emilee Pauley won the long round with a 7.0 and
Savana Johnston placed seventh with an 8.1.
In the barrel racing,
Sydney Fuerst earned third place with a 28.85 on two. Johnston was close behind in fourth with a 29.20 on two.
Jaycie Rau placed fifth with a 33.59 on two and
Sydney Maher snagged sixth with 33.65 on two.
Tessa Caspers placed seventh in the long go with a 14.51 with Pauley right behind in eighth with a 14.52.
Brooklyn Hanson finished third in the breakaway with an average time of 6.8 on two. Caspers placed fifth with a 2.6 on one.
Jaycee Wooters placed seventh in the long go with a 3.6 followed by
Madi Moody placing nineth with a 3.7.
Men
Austin Madison won third place in the steer wrestling with a 13.3 on two.
Madison also snagged the win in the tie-down roping with a 21.4 on two.
Riley Staton placed fourth with a 28.3 on two.
Brett Mattson and
Riley Hannum stretched two steers in 18.8 seconds to earn the team roping title.
Clayton Backhaus placed sixth in the long go with a 9.7.

The Yellow Jackets will travel to their final rodeo of the season in Lincoln, Neb. on May 6-7 to compete in the Cornhusker Stampede. This rodeo will determine the qualifiers for the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyo.
