PUEBLO, Colo. – Black Hills State women's golf played through the final 18-hole round at the Sam Proal Invitational on Tuesday, ending the tournament in 12^th place after shedding 19-strokes as a team.
 
The Yellow Jackets (719, +143) were led by Ava Kalanek (171, +27) once more on day two, who shaved five strokes off her scorecard in the second round to finish in a tie for 44^th.  
 
Lola Homiston (181, +37) saw a major 11-stroke improvement on her round two scores to finish in a tie for 65^th, while Katie Jorgenson (183, +39) and Cami Langley (184, +40) finished the tournament in ties for 67^th and 71^st, respectively. Jorgenson's round two score saw seven less strokes recorded than in her previous Monday round.
 
Rounding out the Yellow Jacket golfers was Madisen Jarrett (201, +57), who landed in a tie for 80^th.
 
Though they added six shots to their team score in the second day, Texas A&M International (610, +34) emerged victorious in Pueblo, with Midwestern (611, +35) narrowly falling to second. Rounding out the top three finishing schools at the Pueblo Country Club was the hosting CSU Pueblo (617, +41), who saw a 23-stroke improvement on day two.
