NIOBRARA, Neb. - Due to weather conditions in Niobrara on Saturday, the tournament's second day was canceled leaving the Yellow Jackets as front-runners after yesterday's 18-hole round.
"I am proud of how the team battled through tough conditions," said head coach
Craig Marsh. "Our game plan was to keep the ball in play and limit big mistakes. Everyone did a nice job keeping the ball in front of them and staying focused. The team played smart and solid golf, especially considering the difficulty of the golf course and our limited competitive rounds this spring. We will use our recent success as a springboard into the RMAC Championship."
