RAPID CITY, S.D. – Black Hills State women's golf competed in the first round of the Hardrocker Fall Invite on Monday morning and afternoon and finished in seventh place.
The Yellow Jackets (352, +64) were led by
Lola Homiston (83, +11) in the first 18 holes, who finished in a six-way tie for 12th on the individual scoreboard.
Anna Talarico (89, +17) was the next Yellow Jacket on the leaderboard, finishing the day in a tie for 28
th.
Cami Langley and
Ava Kalanek (90, +18) completed their rounds in another four-player tie for 30
th while
Katie Jorgenson (98, +26) rounded out the Yellow Jacket team players in a four-player lockup for 42
nd.
Madisen Jarrett (98, +26) joined Jorgenson in the mix or 42
nd while
Jessica Folchert (100, +28) will head into day two in 46
th.
Leading the way in the tournament is the hosting South Dakota Mines "A" team (+33), with Montana State Billings (+35) and the University of Sioux Falls (+41) in tow in second and third, respectively.
