RAPID CITY, S.D. – Black Hills State women's golf competed in the final day of the South Dakota Mines Hardrocker Fall Invitational on Tuesday, with the ladies shaving a stroke off the scorecard and moving up one spot to finish in sixth.
The Yellow Jackets (+127) went into Tuesday and finished with a +63 overall, which was a one-stroke improvement from the first day of golf where BHSU tallied a +64 outing.
Lola Homiston (169, +25) led the Yellow Jackets throughout the tournament as she finished in a tie for 14
th.
Cami Langley (177, +33) shaved three strokes off her game in day two and landed in a four-way tie for 23
rd on the player leaderboard.
Anna Talarico (179, +35) landed in a tie for 30
th while
Ava Kalanek (181, +37) and
Katie Jorgenson (181, +37) finished in 34
th and 41
st, respectively, to round out the BHSU team.
Madisen Jarrett and
Jessica Folchert competed as individuals over the course of the tournament. Jarrett (192, +48) finished in 45
th while Folchert (199, +55) capped off in 46
th.
South Dakota Mines' "A" team (+70) found first place while Montana State Billings (+90) and the University of Sioux Falls (+91) finished the tournament in second and third, respectively.

BHSU will compete in their next tournament on Monday, Oct. 9 through Tuesday, Oct. 10 at the Sam Proal Invitational in Pueblo, Colorado.
