FORT DODGE, Iowa – Black Hills State rodeo had an incredible showing at the Triton Stampede over the weekend with both the men's and women's teams finishing first.
The Yellow Jackets also swept All-Around honors with
Austin Madison claiming All-Around on the men's side and
Cashae McGee for the women.
Women
McGee placed first in Goat Tying with a 15.0 on two, followed by
Riley Donnelly in second with a 15.3 on two.
Emma Ohm finished fourth in the long-go with a 7.7 and
Haven Jones was fifth in the short-go with an 8.0
In Breakaway Roping,
Riley Donnelly placed fourth with a 3.3 on one. And in Team Roping, Ohm was teamed up with Madison to place fifth with a 35.2 on two.
McGee won the Barrel Race with a 30.64 on two, followed by
Kashlin Bettelyoun in fourth with a 31.69 on two. Donnelly finished sixth in the long-go with a 15.55.
Men
In Steer Wrestling,
Swade Reis finished second in the event with a 19.7 on two, and Madison came in fourth with a 23.9 on two.
Treg Thorstenson placed first in Tie Down Roping with a 23.0 on two, and
Luke Mavity was fourth with a 27.9 on two.
Riley Staton finished fist in Team Roping with a 21.7 on two, and Madison along with Ohm finished fifth in the event with a 35.2 on two.

The Yellow Jackets are back on the road again this weekend to compete in the Blue Hawk Stampede on Sept. 29-30 in Dickinson, N.D.
