Black Hills State Heads to Nevada for RMAC Championships

Yellow Jackets slated to begin teeing off at 11:00 AM (MT) on Sunday

SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Black Hills State University golf team heads back to the Pacific time zone for the second time this semester to compete at the 2024 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Championships in the Las Vegas area at Boulder Creek Golf Course on April 21-23 to wrap up the 2023-24 season.

2024 SUMMIT AWARD NOMINEE
The 2024 Yellow Jacket nominee for the RMAC Summit Award was junior Cami Langley (Jr., Casper, Wyo.) who is studying physical education at Black Hills State University.
 
About the award:
This award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average (GPA), through the most recently completed term and calculated to the thousandth decimal point. (Only undergraduate GPA is applicable. If the student-athlete has graduated from their current institution and is in graduate school, they are still eligible for the award, but consideration will be based strictly on an undergraduate GPA and credits).
 
THE COURSE
The Yellow Jackets will compete at Boulder Creek Golf Course in Boulder City, Nevada. The course is a par 72 course with a yardage of 6,055.
 
THE TEAMS
All RMAC teams will participate at the 2024 RMAC Championships. Round 1 tee times have been linked above, as well as the RMAC Championships page.
 
THE FORECAST
  • The weather calls for sunny skies all three days of the Championships in Boulder City with the temperatures exceeding 85 each day, with Sunday and Monday to sneak into the 90s.
  • The Yellow Jackets will face a moderate amount of wind (as of Thursday afternoon) with winds from the S/SE between 15-20 all three days.
