CHADRON, Neb.- The Black Hills State Yellow Jackets were unable to pull out their third win versus Chadron this season as they fell to the Eagles in a three-set match where CSC controlled the entire game. The Green and Gold got to 20 in each of the first two sets but were unable to take either of them. The Jackets were led by 
Ellie Thomas, who had 14 digs, and 
Randi Wellhoefer and Izzy Abril each reached six kills.

HOW IT HAPPENED
	- The match started back-and-forth with each team winning five of the first ten points, before BHSU won back-to-back to take a 7-5 lead. Chadron would tie it up at seven and then each team would keep splitting points before BHSU won back-to-back again to make it 12-10. Chadron would go on the first run of the half winning the next five of six points to make it 15-13. The Yellow Jackets would win two of three points out of the media timeout to make it 16-15 before a 5-1 by the Eagles made it 21-16. Back-to-back points would make it 21-18 before Chadron would win three in a row to make it 24-18. Three kills in a row by Randi Wellhoefer made it 24-21 before setter Jillian Donovan ended the set with a  set-kill to take the 25-21 set win, which is the first set win for the Eagles in 15 sets.
- Chadron would take an early 4-2 lead in the second set before BHSU came back and tied it at four. BHSU once again had to tie it at seven before they went on a 4-0 run to take a 11-7 lead. Chadron would answer by going on a 6-2 run to be the first team to 15. Chadron would win four of the next six out of the media timeout making their run a 10-4 run and taking a 19-15 lead. BHSU would win four of the next five to cut the lead to one at 20-19 before Chadron would win five of the next six to take the set 25-20 and take a 2-0 lead over the match.
- Chadron would start the third set on a 15-5 run with a .652 hitting percentage. The Eagles kept it at a ten-point lead at 19-9 before the Yellow Jackets won six out of nine to get it to 23-15 and only an eight-point lead. Chadron would win the next two points to take the third set 25-15 and the match 3-0.
