HOW IT HAPPENED
•
Olivia McCandless led the team in scoring today with a 90 (+18), which is exactly her season average through eight rounds this year. McCandless only had two holes where she made worse than bogey and started the round +4 thru six holes. She finished tied with Kalenek with a 176 (+32) 36-hole score, which was good enough to put her In a tie for 70th.
•    Ava Kalanek finished tied with her teammate Leyni Stavola with a 91 (+19), her 176 (+32) for the tournament put her in a tie with McCandless for 70th place and was her fourth best 36-hole score this year and Kalanek had one of the two birdies for BHSU today. She made a four on the par five 13th hole. She only had three holes worse than bogey, and had one par.
•    Leyni Stavola was able to put a pretty good round together as well, tying with Kalenek at a 91 (+19). She finished with a 178 (+34) over the 36 holes. This put her in 73rd place for the tournament. The 36-hole score was her fifth best this season and she had five pars in the 18 holes.
•    Katie Jorgenson finished fourth on the team today with a 92 (+20), but she still led the team in 36 hole score, shooting a 175 (+31). She finished 68th in the tournament. She had the only other birdie on the day for the Yellow Jackets and had four pars with three on the back nine.
•    Rounding out the team lineup for the Yellow Jackets was Jessica Folchert, who shot in the 100s for the second straight day, she shot a 105 (+33) today, but she did have three pars. She shot a 36-hole score of 206 (+62), which put her in 83rd place for the tournament.
•    On the individual trail Anna Talarico put up a pretty solid 90 (+18) today which put her tied for the best score in BHSU's lineup today. She had a 36-hole score of 184 (+40), which tied her season low 36-hole score. The 90 was above her average, and she led the team in pars with seven today.
