Swanson Ties Career Low as BHSU Improves on Day Two of the RMAC Championships

BOULDER CITY, NEV.- Makaela Swanson bounced back and shot a 79 (+7) tying her career-low round and helping the Yellow Jackets improve from their round one scores shooting a 335 (+47) today in round two at Boulder Creek Country Club in Boulder City, Nevada. The 335 finished one shot outside of the programs top 10 list, with 334 being 10th. However, BHSU's current 36-hole score would be put in the top ten in program history in a tie for 6th as they have shot 677 (+101) over two days at the RMACs, which put them in ninth place in the tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED
•    Makaela Swanson, who was tied for fourth on the team yesterday, went out and shot a 79 (+7) today, as stated previously, this ties her career-low round as a freshman and she just keeps getting better. •    Ava Kalanek continues her strong and consistent RMAC tournament by shooting an 86 (+14) today, which puts her at a 171 (+27) currently for her round. This puts her in 44th place.
