Madison, S.D. – The Black Hills State University
volleyball team defeated Dakota State 3-1 in the Dakota Athletic
Conference opening match. The Yellow Jackets knocked off the
Trojans by scores of 25-17, 15-25, 26-24 and 25-22. Black
Hills State is now has a record of 6-12 (1-0 DAC).
Maggie O'Neill led the Yellow Jackets with had 14 kills and four
service aces. Kayla Drieling added nine kills and four block
assists while Tori Lounsbery recorded 29 assists. Brittani
Casados added 14 digs.
Black Hills State will return to action Saturday night when the
team travels to Mayville, N.D. to take on Mayville State at 3 p.m.
CT/2 p.m. MT.
