Mayville, N.D. – The Black Hills State University volleyball team defeated Mayville State on Saturday afternoon 3-1 to advance to 7-12 overall and 2-0 in the Dakota Athletic Conference.

The Yellow Jackets won the first set 25-19 and then fell in the second set 26-28.  Black Hills State bounced back in the third set 25-17 and closed out the match in the fourth by a score of 25-10.

Black Hills State will return to action on Friday, September 24 when the team will face Minot State in Minot, N.D.  Match time is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT/6 p.m. MT.
