LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Black Hills State University volleyball team has earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award, the AVCA announced recently.
The Yellow Jackets have been named an AVCA Team Academic Award recipient four times since joining the NCAA.
The Green and Gold held a cumulative 3.575 over the 2018-19 academic year.
In order to qualify, teams must maintain at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average. BHSU is one of 142 Division II teams to earn the distinction this season.
