"Aubri, Lawsen and Rian are all excellent soccer players that we will be looking for them to make immediate contributions in Fall 25 and help us continue to develop our attacking brand of soccer," stated head coach John Hutchison. "However, better yet they are all fantastic young ladies who have the drive and determination that will help develop our family culture as well."

Rian Barthel enters her senior season as a 3-year letterwinner, starter, and team captain at Natrona County High School, having been named First Team All-Conference and All-State in the 2022, 2023, and 2024 seasons. She has recorded at least 100 saves and seven shutouts in each season thus far, totaling 420 saves and 23 shutouts over the course of her career. In her junior season she tallied 169 saves and notched eight shutouts while leading the Mustangs to their third consecutive state tournament appearance. Outside of high school soccer she has been selected to the West Region Olympic Development Team two times, the Wyoming Olympic Development Team four times, and the Wyoming Select Team five times, in addition to playing for Blades United for nine years. Academically she is a 4-time honor roll recipient (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024), was named to the Casper College Deans Honor Roll in 2023, and is in her second year as the Student Body President at NCHS. Rian is the daughter of Jason and Sarah Barthel, who were both collegiate athletes at Chadron State College.

Coach Hutchison's Thoughts: "Rian is a very imposing goalkeeper with steady hand and unbelievable athleticism. She is also a great communicator, which is something you want in a goalkeeper. Her range of distribution is also another one of her strengths which will help us build from the back and create attacks."
Aubri Roth - 2024 Signing Day PhotoAubri Roth // Midfielder // 5'7'' // Laurel, Mont. // Laurel H.S.
Aubri Roth will arrive in Spearfish following a prep career at Laurel High School which included a pair of state titles in 2021 and 2024 as a 4-year starter and 2-year team captain for the Locomotives. In her junior and senior years, she recorded back-to-back seasons with 30+ points as in 2023 she tallied 34 points with 13 goals and eight assists, while in 2024 she notched 32 points with ten goals and 12 assists as she garnered all-state honors each year. She closed her high school career with 100 points as she found the back of the net 37 times and added 26 assists. The midfielder was also an active member of the Billings United soccer club and helped lead her team to first place age group finishes in the state and the Far West Regionals in 2021 and 2022, while also leading them to President Cups in 2023 and 2024. Academically she is an honor roll student and has been a part of the National Honor Society. Aubri is the daughter of Randy and Chandra Roth.

Coach Hutchison's Thoughts: "We are very excited for Aubri to be a part of our team; she is very technical and composed on the ball. She gets the best out of her teammates and makes life very easy for them with her distribution and combination play. She fits very nicely into what our identity is here."

Academically she is a member of the National Honor Society and has received recognition such as the Wyoming High School Activities Association Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award and the Wyoming Coaches Association Academic Award. Lawsen is the daughter of Paul and Tracey Quist.
