A 6-year letterwinner and starter at nearby Belle Fourche High School for head coach Rebekah Trimble, she was a 2025 Honorable Mention All-SDHSAA Class A selection and was a 2-time All-Black Hills Conference pick. She helped lead the Broncs to the SDHSAA Class A State Tournament Quarterfinals in back-to-back seasons in 2024 and 2025, finding the back of the net seven times as a junior and four times as a senior. Over the course of her prep career, she tallied a total of 30 points by way of 13 goals and four assists. On the club circuit she played for South Dakota United in 2021-22. Jazlyn is the daughter of Kim Terrill and Justin Olson, and she has one sibling, Ember Olson.
