A Spearfish native staying home. she was a 5-year letterwinner and starter and was a captain her senior season for head coach Anthony Bradley and the Spartans. Among the top defenders in Western South Dakota, she was a 4-time All-Black Hills Conference selection and was among the Rapid City Journal's Best of the West in 2024. She tallied three assists in her career, which included helping lead SHS to the SDHSAA Class AA State Tournament five consecutive seasons. Among the state tournament appearances, the Spartans reached the quarterfinals twice in 2021 and 2023, recording win totals of 11 and ten respectively in the two seasons. She was also a part of the Black Hills Rapids squad that was the NPL National Runner-Up in 2024 and the NPL National Champions in 2025. Daniela is the daughter of Dagoberto Rodriguez and Claudia Garcia, and she has three siblings, Leo, Isai, and Dago Rodriguez. Her father Dagoberto had a 13-year professional soccer career in Mexico and her brother, Leo, played professionally for three seasons.
