Valley City, N.D. - The Black Hills State University volleyball team defeated Valley City State 3-0 on Saturday afternoon in Valley City, N.D.

The Yellow Jackets were led offensively by Caitlin Templeton.  Templeton posted 14 kills and only committed three errors on 26 attacks.  She also added two solo blocks and one block assist.  Kylee Lamb had seven kills in the contest.  Kelsey Olson racked up 20 digs while Darbi Yost dished out 35 assists.

Black Hills State will travel to Chadron, Neb. to take on Chadron State on Sept. 20 next.  The match is slated to begin at 7 p.m. MT.
