PREP: A 3-year starter and a 2-year team captain during his junior and senior seasons for head coach Alan Jeffries, Long brings in experience as both a long snapper and a linebacker. As a linebacker he was a 2-time First Team All-Northern Conference selection in 2023 and 2024, he helped lead the Red Wolves to the CHSAA Class 4A State Playoffs in three consecutive years (2022, 2023, and 2024). He amassed 174 total tackles and two interceptions during his prep career, and was highlighted by a junior campaign that saw him tally 96 total tackles, an interception, and a sack. Assuming the role as starting long snapper as just a sophomore on a team that went 12-2 and made a postseason run to the state title game, he has emerged as one of the top recruits in the class at the position.  He received an invite to play in the Gametime Senior Bowl in in Phoenix, Arizona, on January 11, as well as the U.S. Army Bowl National Combine Series in Denver, Colorado, on May 11. Cim is the son of Hannah, a former Colorado State University track & field All-American (1998-2003) and Paul Gattanella, and Brian Long. He has five siblings, Gabriella, Izzy, Bailee, Carson, and Journi.
