Black Hills State University Athletics

The BHSU 1979 Yellow Jacket baseball team won the South Dakota Intercollegiate Conference with a perfect 11-0 conference record. The Jackets ended the season with a 22-5 record for the season and won the District 12 championship. The Yellow Jackets reached the finals of the Area 3 NAIA tournament before being ousted by Southeast Oklahoma. 

This year’s inductees also were honored during the 2014 Swarm Days parade and at halftime of the Swarm Days football game.
