Black Hills State University Athletics

a 1941 BHSC graduate, has been instrumental in promoting athletics in area high schools as well as at the college level. He was a past president of the Rushmore Coaches Club, organizer and player agent for the Little League, president of the Rapid City Pony and Colt Leagues, member and chairman of the state commission of the American Legion baseball organization and the first president of the Yellow Jacket Foundation. He was selected as the BHSC Outstanding Alumnus in 1976.
