Black Hills State University Athletics

Carl was an outstanding all-around athlete for the Yellow Jackets from 1961-63. He participated in football, basketball, track, wrestling and baseball and lettered in all five sports in one year. He earned nine letters in just two years and was named BHTC Athlete of the Year in 1963. Mirich held the single-season basketball shooting percentage record at the university from 1963 to 1990.
