played four years of basketball and baseball at BHSU. Gusso was named to the District 5 all-star baseball squad as a utility player his freshman year, All-Conference his sophomore year at third base, and All-Conference his junior and senior seasons at shortstop. He was also named to the All-Elite baseball team his sophomore and junior seasons and was named to the All-District 12 team his senior year.
