Mick, a ’69 graduate, set track records in the 100-and 220-yard dashes. His record in the 220-yard dash still stands as a BHSU record. He won the SDIC in both races for four consecutive years. As a member of three BHSU relay teams, the talented sprinter helped set school records in the 880-yard relay, the 4x100-yard relay, and the 4x400-yard relay. In addition to his track exploits, Hendry lettered one year in football, was an officer in the Lettermen’s Club, participated in theater, and was a member of the college band for four years.
