Black Hills State University Athletics

 played football for the Yellow Jackets in the early forties. Since that time, Christensen has been an outstanding donor and supporter to the Black Hills State University athletic department. In 1989, Bryce established a scholarship in his name for student-athletes at Black Hills State. In 1997, he established another scholarship named the Bryce and Clara Christensen Scholarship Fund.
