Hall of Fame
holds Black Hills State University’s football record for most career interceptions (22) and most interceptions in a season (9). He played from 1977-1980, and was team defensive MVP three of his four years at BHSU. He was a two-time first team SDIC performer and a two-time NAIA All-District 12 selection. Joe was a NAIA Honorable Mention All-American and the Jackets were 24-13-2 during his tenure at BHSU.
