Black Hills State University Athletics

Joe Case graduated from Black Hills State College in 1974.  From 1972-74, Joe was the sports editor for the BH student newspaper. Joe worked for the Queen City Mail, Lawrence County Centennial, Belle Fourche Post and Rapid City Journal before retiring in 2008. Joe covered BHSU athletics for 26 years and became one of western South Dakota’s most respected sports writers. He won Best Sports Story/Best Sports Column multiple times from the South Dakota Newspaper Association.
