Hall of Fame
a 1955 graduate of the University, has been an outstanding contributor to the Yellow Jacket athletic program. He was instrumental in establishing the original Purple and Gold Club, and assumed an active role in promoting the fund-raising activities of the organization for many years. He received the club’s Outstanding Service Award for his support. Foster was also recognized by the NAJA Shrine for his work in establishing and promoting the annual Shrine game at Lyle Hare Field. In 1977, he received the Alumni Association’s Outstanding Alumnus award.
