Black Hills State University Athletics

Jerry was president of the Purple and Gold Club from 1959-1961 and has been president of the Green and Gold Club since 1989. In 1989 the Green and Gold Club raised $15,500 for athletic scholarships at BHSU, and in 1994 the booster club raised $105,700. Much of the success is credited to Jerry and his hard work. Junek was named the Green and Gold Club booster of the year in 1992.
