Karl Pfefferle ran track and cross country from 1975-1979. During his collegiate running career, he qualified for the NAIA Cross Country meet in 1977, placed third in the District 12 meet in 1976, 1978, and 1979, was co-SDIC cross country champion in 1979, was a member of the District 12 champion team in 1979, and was a member of the SDIC winning team in both 1977 and 1979.
