Black Hills State University Athletics

graduated in 1953 and has timed sporting events for university basketball, football, cross-country and track since 1969. He also has timed events for Special Olympics. Bauer, a member of the Green and Gold Club, established a scholarship at BHSU as an assistant professor in 1969 and became director of admissions in 1972. He returned to the classroom as an associate professor in 1985 until he retired in 1993.
