Black Hills State University Athletics

 was an all-conference lineman in 1968, playing for the Yellow Jackets from 1966 to 1968. A graduate of the Science Education program, he went on to become a very successful high school coach in football and track at Torrington, Wyoming. He left teaching in 1979 and moved to Harding County to ranch. He returned to coaching part-time as the Harding County girl’s basketball coach. His team won the District 32 championship in 1984.
