Hall of Fame
volunteered his services to the BHSU athletic department for twenty-five years. He worked as a picker and a timer in the press box at track meets, and was the public address announcer for all home Yellow Jacket football and basketball games from the early 1960s to the mid- 1980s. He also assisted the coaching staff with recruiting many athletes. He and his wife, Nyla, provided meals for many of the athletes that could not make it home for the holidays.
